The latest on Sarah Kay’s road to healing:

Sarah continues to have issues with mouth infections and swollen lips. They are quite painful and she uses the
word "miserable" to define how she's feeling. Sarah seldom complains so I can only imagine how much she is hurting.

These infections can be typical in a person who has undergone a stem cell transplant. Infections of the mouth can be caused by viral or fungal elements taking advantage of her newly forming immune system or may be a

OK. Sarah and our families are 233 days into this healing journey.

Sarah Kay Update Monday evening March 12 (evening)

Sarah just talked with the infectious disease doctor and he thinks her infection might be bacterial. They are going to get her on on oral medicines and a cream to use. He will check back in tomorrow (March 13, 2018).

Please continue to pray for Sarah and her family.
