Here is a note from one of our board members, Joyce, about her involvement in Gilead...

"I invest in Gilead Ministries because they give without expecting anything in return. The ministry tirelessly supports clients who are battling cancer, long-term illness or grief. Support is given through a telephone call, a card, a personal visit or a helpful deed. Word of mouth has increased the client list to include nearly every state in the country.

The ministry's reward is a thank you note or a child's smiling face in a photograph.

I am a breast cancer survivor of fifteen years. Gilead Ministries has supported me, loved me and helped me grow as a person and as a Christian.

Throughout the life of the ministry, they have embraced other ministries who have similar missions, such as Rebecca's Hope and Phil's Kids.

Gilead Ministries Board of Directors are people with passion for the ministry. The board members come from all walks of life, but all are loving, compassionate people who care about the ministry's mission.

I invest in Gilead Ministries because I love this ministry and there is a real need for their loving outreach. People hunger for validation when at their lowest points in their lives. Gilead tells us we're still lovable and valuable.
