Amen. Thank you for sharing, Bill. It's easy to remind yourself that God is in control, but sometimes we just need an illustration to get a better handle on what that means. I love the explanation (that Stanley so plainly explained) about fearing God... that although the storm is frightening to us, when we finally get through the storm we're stopped in our tracks (perhaps even devastated) by the thought of God having complete dominion over the whole situation. When things are out of control, He is 100% in control... and we'll eventually see: He has been all along. Sobering, and it really puts things in perspective - to realize that God has a plan, and whether we like it or not, it's beyond our ability to influence. But still, He says not to worry, just trust in Him. Wow.
