Never Alone

There are times, despite all I have, I feel weak and alone. Maybe you can identify with this.

The situation, the pressure, the pain, the hurt, they can catch up to you. Even your best intentions can fail you.

When those times are upon you, there is a place, and a person, we can lean on. Jesus.

Listen to words of your Heavenly Father, "I will . . . not forsake My people." (I Kings 6:13 NKJV). That is you!

In his book, "Traveling Light", Max Lucado writes...

"The Lord is with us. And, since the Lord is near, everything is different. Everything!

You may be facing death, but you aren't facing death alone; the Lord is with you. You may be facing unemployment, but you aren't facing unemployment alone; the Lord is with you. You may be facing marital struggles, but you aren't facing them alone; the Lord is with you.

Underline those words: You are not alone.

Your family may turn against you, but God won't. Your friends may betray you, but God won't. You may feel alone in the wilderness, but you are not. He is with you."

I pray these words have arrived in your world at just the right time. Take a few minutes and let the words of this song, one of my favorites, reach to the depths of your being and allow God to hold you, and remind you of his "Promise".
