Over the past dozen weeks or so you and I have been on the dance floor together stepping to the tune of God's grace and mercy.

This morning something struck me concerning the time we've spent together. This is the first time in all the years I've read this book (that is now in it's 6th year, I read it at least once a year) I realized that this collection of thoughts, truths and type on a page are, for all intents and purposes, MORE than thoughts, truths and type.

The pages filled with Andy's thoughts have become a way of life, one which is still shaping each day. I find myself drawn to the pages of this teaching each time I have a victory. When I am fighting hard to make something happen, Andy's words, filled with examples from God's word, either creep in or flood in depending upon the day.

My heart is truly warmed and encouraged by what I learn each time I read the pages of "TGOG".

Even more, today i realized that for the first time in a while, I am growing through a principle I've focused on most of my adult life. Solomon said it well, "As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another".

I have been sharpened!

Because of this wonderful treasure, I want to thank you for the time you've spent stepping to the tune of this book. I am better! Because of you!

Gilead is better! Because of you!

What better way to use our energy as leaders for Christ, than to be intentional in understanding the truth that is at the epicenter of Christianity, GRACE.

I pray this little time of catch-up will bring a fresh, unhurried pace to your reading. With all of the "whip cracking" my only desire is for you to "grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and forever! Amen." I plagiarized that last phrase, Peter is the penman of those words, God's Spirit is the author....

But aren't they great words!

Read away, comment away.

God's grace to you!

This is my second time reading this book, and I find myself carrying it with me wherever I go almost every day! This is because almost every day I find myself in a situation where I want to be reassured of God's grace. I find that I'm more relaxed than I was before I started reading this book, and it is encouraging and just plain feels good.
