The vision is "sharing the journey" we do this by helping with burdens, making relationships and giving encouragement where needed.

The vision of Gilead revolves around "Sharing the Journey" with those who may be terminally ill, have many different types of cancer, or another life threatening problem. We do not stop there though we also minister to their loved ones and support them as well by providing just about anything they and their family might need from a call, card, home visit, food, entry ramp ect... The Vision continues with the thought that we will love them right where they are and if ever the door opens to share Jesus we respectfully and graciously present the Love of Jesus to them.

Great video, Bill! I am going to take a stab at the vision statement.... "Sharing the journey" by building relationships, bearing burdens, and bringing hope. I hope I got it right (fingers crossed). Looking forward to reading the book(s) and learning a lot about Gilead Ministries' vision and each board member!

To me the Gilead vision means that people think of us first when they think of being cared for emotionally and spiritually for cancer, other long-term illnesses and grief. They learn they can trust us to be there from the beginning of their journey and that we will never abandon them when others may think their journey is over.
