Chapter 8 ~ Thank You

When you have such good material to work with...why add to it?

Ok, I know it sounds like I'm making excuses, but really I'm making a list of things I'm thankful for...

This has been a chapter of... well... thanks...

I wish I could write a long list of wonderful thoughts from this chapter, but I don't want to influence your time of giving "THANKS"...

What I can do, is to ask you to join me in Max's little exercise, take the alphabet and count the many things you are thankful for...

I won't give you all of mine, but I will share a few...

G - God's faithfulness to me, not because of me but because of his love for me. I've been unfaithful and yet, God has given me grace to still be in ministry and for the first time in my life, I don't have to work two jobs to keep my family going.

Y - I am thankful for YOU. And all the YOUS that have been a part of Gilead's incredible outreach. I think of the phrase I've used hundreds of times, "If you see a turtle on a fence post, you know he didn't get there by himself." It is so true. I am where I am because of all of you. There isn't enough time nor words to express my love for you as a part of God's work in my life and the lives of so many others impacted by Gilead.
